We’re on the verge of another season of IISL Softball and hopefully another successful one! I know you’re all itching to get out there and play and we’re hammering out the final details of the schedule. The softball schedule will be posted on Google Docs tomorrow at 6:30 PM. You’ll be able to start signing up your games for times and locations.

This spreadsheet is largely based on the spreadsheet from two years ago. Here I’ll go through brief explanation of how to use the sheet.
This is a link to a copy of the schedule. While it most likely won’t change, there may be changes before tomorrow. This NOT the actual file you will use. This schedule is NOT finalized. You will NOT have access to edit the spreadsheet. That will come tomorrow. This is just to take a look at it if you’re not familiar with it.

The first page is a standings page that automatically tabulates wins and losses, win percentage, games behind, and run differential from scores posted on the individual league pages. In the event of ties for seeding purposes it is mostly correct except for ties that need to be broken by head to head matchups. We know of this issue and we will adjust for it when the playoffs comes around.
The second page and third page are the same, just differentiated for the two leagues. Here, the winning team will be responsible for reporting scores. Please be timely in posting scores. If you need to set a make-up game, don’t enter a score for the original game and type in the game in the space at the end of the schedule specifically for make-up games.
The fourth page is the full schedule. The main purpose of this page is to find locations and times for your games. Sign up for games will be first come first serve. If you change your game time or location, promptly make the add the new info along with removing the old info.
The last page is just a contact info sheet so you can quickly contact other captains.
