Hello everyone,
First off, hats off to all the captains for helping us organize the regular season. Though it was a little more work coordinating with each team, in the end having the regular season and changing the playoffs to a single elimination tourney was the best decision.
Just a few notes:
- Kudos to the Open champions-New Life and Co-ed champions-Church of Christ for winning their respective divisions. Each team displayed great softball skill and Christ-like character in their quest to the top.
- Look for a survey in the next couple of days. Your input will be very helpful in shaping the future of this league.
- We are looking for more help. Please email me if you’re interested in planning and promoting the league.
- If people have STRONG RELATIONSHIPS with park districts, we can use your help to securing fields for next year.
- If each team can forward me pictures of your team, I will post it on our website.
- Check out www.IISL.org for Softball pictures and other information.
Special thanks to the council members, Sam, John, Joe, Andrew, and Jung for all of the behind the scenes work. If it wasn’t for their help, IISL would stop to exist.
Finally, thanks to Jesus for the opportunity to serve in this capacity (as league admins) and for the opportunity for Churches to play softball with each other. Please keep our Evergreen family in your prayers.
